Brazen Abbot: A Decade Of Brazen Abbot
Led by virtuoso Bulgarian guitar player Nilolo Kotzev (previously of Baltimoore), Brazen Abbot came into being in the early 1990s. With three singers and Kotzev´s stunning guitar work, the record blazed the trail for the group´s melodic stadium rock, which they have maintained despite numerous lineup changes. Kotzev has included such acclaimed musicians in his band as Glenn Hughes, and Thomas Vikstom, as well as former Europe members John Leven, Mic Michaeli, and Ian Haughland. The lineup featured here includes four singers: Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), Goran Edman (Malmsteen), Tony Harnell (TNT), and Erik Martensson (Eclipse). Though Kotzev currently lives and works in Finland, This stunning concert sees his return home to Bulgaria, to play the songs from the album My Resurrection accompanied by a 313-piece string orchestra.
